What's in the box
One SimplyTracker with two lithium AA batteries already fitted and the SIM built in, a quick start guide and a warranty card. That is all. There are no accessories, no mounting hardware and no cables, and you never open the tracker. Activate it, fix it to the asset, and it starts reporting.

Shipping and returns
We dispatch within 2 business days of accepting your order while we have stock. Standard post within Australia usually arrives 2 to 6 business days after dispatch. New Zealand orders go by tracked international post and usually arrive 5 to 10 business days after dispatch.
Changed your mind? You can return a Tracker within 14 days of delivery for a refund of its price, as long as the box is unopened and undamaged. You pay the postage to send it back. Full rules are in our Sales Terms.
Warranty
The tracker is covered by a 24 month warranty from the date of delivery against defects in materials and workmanship. We repair, replace or refund at our option. Batteries are consumables and are not covered. This sits on top of your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, which are not excluded.

A GPS tracker built to be left alone
The SimplyTracker is a sealed, battery-powered 4G GPS tracker built to sit on a trailer, boat, caravan, ute or machine for years. The SimplyTrackd app is where you see it: every tracker on one map, where it has been, and an alert when it starts moving.
Rugged and sealed.
Rated IP68 for dust and water and IK07 for impact, and sealed at the factory. Two lithium AA batteries are already fitted and typically last 2 to 6 years or more, depending on how much the asset moves.
Its own 4G connection.
No phone needed nearby. Outdoors it works out where it is from GPS satellites. Indoors it works thanks to Wi-Fi based geolocation or mobile cell network triangulation. Either way it reports over 4G on its own.
Small, light, no wiring.
149 x 51 x 21 mm and 104 g. Mount it with screws or heavy-duty cable ties through the mounting tabs. There is nothing to wire into the asset and nothing to open.

It needs 4G mobile coverage to report. Out of coverage it keeps recording the journey and reports once it is back in range, so check coverage where you will use it.

Scan the QR code on the quick start guide in the box. Get the SimplyTrackd app from the App Store, or use the web app on Android, and create your account.
Switch it on.
Peel off the yellow sticker and pull out the magnet. That switches the tracker on and starts your 12 months of included tracking. Give it a few minutes to appear on the map.
Fit it where it belongs.
Mount it with screws or cable ties, out of sight if you like, keeping a reasonable view of the sky. No wiring.

The tracker is built to be forgotten on the asset. The app is what you open. It shows where your things are, where they have been, and tells you when one of them moves.

Straight answers before you buy
What it does, and what it does not
It needs 4G coverage
It needs 4G mobile coverage to report. Where there is none, it keeps recording the journey and reports once it is back in coverage, but until then you see nothing new. Large parts of Australia have no 4G coverage. Check coverage where you will use the tracker before you rely on it.
It is not a safety device
It is not a safety, emergency or life-saving device. It is not a substitute for an EPIRB, a PLB, a satellite communicator or a phone.
It improves the odds, it does not guarantee them
It improves the chance of finding a stolen asset. It does not guarantee it. A thief can find and remove it, block its signal, or move the asset out of coverage. We do not recover assets or deal with police or insurers on your behalf, and nobody at SimplyTrackd watches the map. An alert depends on the tracker reporting, the network delivering, and your phone receiving notifications. An alert can be delayed or missed.
Track things, not people
You may only use it to locate an asset you own or lawfully control, and only with the consent of any person whose location it would reveal. Tracking a person without consent is an offence in every Australian state and territory. Read our guide to lawful tracking before you buy.

We chose this tracker because it does one thing well: sit on an asset for years and report when something happens. We pre-configure it, include the first 12 months, and put the honest figures on this page rather than the biggest ones.
Questions we get asked
How long do the batteries last?
Typically 2 to 6 years or more, depending on how much the asset moves. An asset that goes out about once a month sits at the top of that range. One on the road all day sits at the bottom. The app warns you when the batteries are running low.
How often does it update, and can I watch it live?
When the asset is moving you get a position at the start of the journey, once an hour while it continues, and once more when it has been still for five minutes. When it is parked, the tracker checks in once a day and sends an alert if it starts moving. It is not a live, second-by-second feed. If an asset has gone missing, or you want to watch it closely for a while, switch on Tracking Boost in the app: a fresh position every minute for 30 minutes, which you can extend.
Does it work without mobile coverage?
It needs 4G mobile coverage to report. Where there is none, it keeps recording the journey and reports it once it is back in coverage. Check coverage where you will use the tracker before you rely on it.

The included 12 months covers tracking, app access and 4G connectivity for that tracker. After that, tracking continues on a per tracker subscription in your account. If the service lapses, you can restart it whenever you like by starting a new subscription in your account.
